Fancy taking a peek around the areas of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home usually closed to the public?

It is holding behind the scenes tours until 7th July 2013 to give you a chance to meet some furry friends and even be a treated to a special dog agility experience!

The tours will run on Saturdays and Sundays through to 7th July, 2013. Battersea will hold two tours per hour from 11:00am to 3:30pm and tours will operate on a first come first served basis.

We’re taking a break from pets for a second to talk about an animal we love.

Tammy the anteater loves to explore her home, London Zoo, after hours and as part of the zoo’s ‘Zoo Lates’ events, the public will be able to meet and greet her! Her adoring public can watch as she scales branches and get to know her up close.

There has been an array of events for Petworkers to attend over the bank holiday, and we would love to see all your snaps. There’s still time to head along to the South Wales Charity Dog Day on Monday 27th May at Fonmon Castle Showground if you are in the area.
